I’m an advocate of listening at 1.5x, but I talk quickly when nervous, and my 5 minutes of listening (while cringing) confirmed my fears! In all seriousness, I hope there is a couple of bits that resonate for everyone that listens, even if it is realising what not to do, or realising you will always take a different approach. I’m far from an expert, am trying to be less grumpy, have loads to learn, etc.
I agree completely. It’s a little nerve racking to start, but that soon passes. I believe it shows how far you’ve come & have to go as an investor. Lovely responses since are heart-warming too. I’d recommend it to anyone too!

@growth_invest1  Enjoyed this! Very different investing style to me as I won’t touch minors but enjoyed hearing bens journey. We all arrive from different paths and learn different lessons along the way, sharing those lessons can only make us all better investors.
@daveglass1 , @conkers3 @wheeliedealer – always good to hear about other peoples’ adventures in investing. I do indeed do my own thing as suggested always and currently sit 100% cash for comfort. I get urges but I’m “thinking slow” like Kahneman, most of the time. Great show as usual chaps! I’d say that most I see on here have only known good times for markets overall, minus a few blips. This could be a long drawn-out bear market, maybe 2 or 3 years with worse to come. The TwinPetes podcasts are a great listen – sunshine on a cloudy day.
