If you are new to this podcast, please let me take a moment to explain “Twin Petes Investing” is an unscripted collaboration between Twitter investing personalities Peter Higgins (conkers) @conkers3 on Twitter and the Award Breaking Pete (WheelieDealer) @WheelieDealer on Twitter. We have several decades of involvement and experience of the stock market, stocks, shares, funds, fundamental analysis, technical analysis and dealing with volatility. We are Full Time Investors who find the day to day rigours of the ever-changing quest to make financial returns from the increasingly volatile markets fascinating. Just for clarity other than when we are presenting Twin Petes Investing LIVE at events as we have been fortunate to do at Mello Events, we are conducting our podcasts from completely different locations, with one of us in Windsor, Berkshire and the other in Leicestershire.
As anyone who has even just a limited amount of experience taking on the Markets will know, everybody has their own unique style and ways of taking on the challenge and although our methods have similarities, it is anticipated that our “Twin Petes Investing” podcasts will bring a range of perspectives and thoughts.

@Big_Leppy , @conkers3@wheeliedealer learnt a lot this year from your podcasts lads and really enjoyed them. Discipline and psychology especially. I am LT and have been in since just before Brexit… but you guys have helped me stay the course and finish the year with a tidy 19% profit.
@1James1n1Podcast 64 pt 1 continued the line of great value special guests, this time contributing very interesting thoughts on how some areas of technology and markets are developing and potential investment opportunities they may yield. Mind-opening stuff!

Really enjoyed the reflections on how you and your listeners did in 2021 – good and not so good – and what you plan to do differently in 2022. Happy New Year to you both. When I worked 8 to 5 in an office I’d be avidly checking the RNSs at 7am on the 148 bus to Victoria. Since taking early retirement in 2020 I rarely get out of bed before 9:30am. My portfolio performance has rarely been better and it’s much less stressful too.
@slarratt1If you are looking at your PF daily, weekly or even monthly on certain holdings then you are either a trader or you are not comfy with your investments, or you haven’t researched them enough to be a happy holder. Look at RNS’s and see if that fits in with your plans for that co.

@claudiohfox I’ve just caught up with #TPI65 while walking to meet friends 4a coffee. @conkers3 for the mention, I didn’t expect that, I just fed back my observations. @wheeliedealer I don’t get emotionally involved, FA, numbers & geology dictate decision making. I’m ruthless really. I had 2B ruthless in my previous role & decision making was always data driven & evidenced based. I’ve always been a bit of a maverick so like companies trailblazing. I’ve no idea what’s right but realise my approach to investing is different from you guys. Enjoying #TPI65
