If you are new to this podcast, please let me take a moment to explain “Twin Petes Investing” is an unscripted collaboration between Twitter investing personalities Peter Higgins (conkers) @conkers3 on Twitter and the Award Breaking Pete (WheelieDealer) @WheelieDealer on Twitter. We have several decades of involvement and experience of the stock market, stocks, shares, funds, fundamental analysis, technical analysis and dealing with volatility. We are Full Time Investors who find the day to day rigours of the ever-changing quest to make financial returns from the increasingly volatile markets fascinating. Just for clarity other than when we are presenting Twin Petes Investing LIVE at events as we have been fortunate to do at Mello Events, we are conducting our podcasts from completely different locations, with one of us in Windsor, Berkshire and the other in Leicestershire.
As anyone who has even just a limited amount of experience taking on the Markets will know, everybody has their own unique style and ways of taking on the challenge and although our methods have similarities, it is anticipated that our “Twin Petes Investing” podcasts will bring a range of perspectives and thoughts.

@claudiohfoxBefore commenting on #Investing#AIM averaging Up or Down, certain stocks, dividends & growth etc I MUST SAY your discussion on #SAD Seasonal Effective Disorder is excellent. It’s something I picked up on staff @ work & looked 4in November each year. Have a cuppa with someone. Blokes R bad @ talking too. My mates & I will talk around the houses before we get 2the stuff that really matters Add into #SAD the last 2 yrs of Covid & not being able to holiday in the sun or garden now + it rains in a lot in Wales #PeopleNeedSupport . I say this only because ‘Men Don’t Talk’. So I try to #GetOutside, I read extensively, I watch live football with friends & meet with mates for a coffee or beer. I engage with loads of people while walking the dog in the park. What I miss is a sun lounger by a pool. #Listening

Brilliant and Suicide is the biggest killer for men under 50 so it is important to talk and be kind to each other. i seen a sad tweet about a investor thinking about taking his own like because of biggest loss on a single ramped up stock. Investing education is the key.

@LEMMINGINVESTORAnother insightful podcast. You’d be forgiven for thinking they do this sort of thing regularly! 42 mins, a must for you inpatient souls. It’s about mindfulness, meditation. The key is “knowing yourself” and don’t be rushed into rash decisions.

@TheReluctantIn2Great to hear talk of ITs like #HICL and #INPP-both part of our diversified SIPPs. Have to be wary of large premiums (like #3IN and #BBGI) which disappeared at last talk of re-nationalising some assets. Maybe a reason for an IT “feature”: gearing, disc/prem and illiquidity RR.
@RebelHQFill your boots with MKS imo Pete’. I bought the day before the results and I reckon Steve Rowe had these turning around just before Covid. They are through that now and lots more to come imo. Been in there ‘fooding’ today, they are smashing it imo.
