If you are new to this podcast, please let me take a moment to explain “Twin Petes Investing” is an unscripted collaboration between Twitter investing personalities Peter Higgins (conkers) @conkers3 on Twitter and the Award Breaking Pete (WheelieDealer) @WheelieDealer on Twitter. We have several decades of involvement and experience of the stock market, stocks, shares, funds, fundamental analysis, technical analysis and dealing with volatility. We are Full Time Investors who find the day to day rigours of the ever-changing quest to make financial returns from the increasingly volatile markets fascinating. Just for clarity other than when we are presenting Twin Petes Investing LIVE at events as we have been fortunate to do at Mello Events, we are conducting our podcasts from completely different locations, with one of us in Windsor, Berkshire and the other in Leicestershire.
As anyone who has even just a limited amount of experience taking on the Markets will know, everybody has their own unique style and ways of taking on the challenge and although our methods have similarities, it is anticipated that our “Twin Petes Investing” podcasts will bring a range of perspectives and thoughts.

Further to the TwinPetesChallenge a very kind individual called Kunal @SW17ChelseaSG on Twitter donated two tickets to watch England Vs Hungary at Wembley on 12th October. I Peter Higgins @conkers3 raffled those tickets off as part of the TwinPetesChallenge and the drawn was concluded on the 5th October. The winner of those tickets was Mark Otten @MarkOtten1. He spoke to Mark and he expressed sheer delight and stated, “This will be by first ever time watching the England football time”. Mark received his tickets on 7th October is very much looking forward to game.
The Wembley tickets raffle helped the total raised by the TwinPetesChallenge for Menphys to reach £14,603. We now press on to see if we can raise a total of more than £15,000 by December 31st 2021. After which we will look to see which significant piece of kit/equipment the money raised can benefit disabled children using the Menphys Hub for many years to come. @patcat68I’m fascinated by sector rotations. The customisable chart allows you to see US changes over different periods using ETFs. I tried to find a UK version but struggled for the data. Maybe someone can help?

@rchrdsut76I think every stock exchange has been in the momentum space since last April. GDP against inflation well we are in recession, governments have bailed out the exchanges and everyone knows this and doesn’t want to let it go. I believe in value stocks but it’s not really mattered.
@MrSmith902 Apologies, don’t know which pete it was but one of you mentioned a CAGR estimate which excluded cash taken out of portfolio. Have you considered unitising your portfolio to properly track its performance taking into account in/outflows? being retired might be worth the effort.
