If you are new to this podcast, please let me take a moment to explain “Twin Petes Investing” is an unscripted collaboration between Twitter investing personalities Peter Higgins (conkers) @conkers3  on Twitter and the Award Breaking Pete (WheelieDealer) @WheelieDealer on Twitter. We have several decades of involvement and experience of the stock market, stocks, shares, funds, fundamental analysis, technical analysis and dealing with volatility. We are Full Time Investors who find the day to day rigours of the ever-changing quest to make financial returns from the increasingly volatile markets fascinating. Just for clarity other than when we are presenting Twin Petes Investing LIVE at events as we have been fortunate to do at Mello Events, we are conducting our podcasts from completely different locations, with one of us in Windsor, Berkshire and the other in Leicestershire.

As anyone who has even just a limited amount of experience taking on the Markets will know, everybody has their own unique style and ways of taking on the challenge and although our methods have similarities, it is anticipated that our “Twin Petes Investing” podcasts will bring a range of perspectives and thoughts.

@hopton_jason  Good podcast! I was speaking to someone the other day about how awful the ftse 100 companies are, you’ve got just eat and Ocado but little else. Next 5 years I think we will see some big sectoral changes, with electrocomponents, renishaw, games workshop knocking on the door.
@battlebus141  Loved the conversation as always. Interesting to hear how you both use moving averages, that’s a field I’ve never looked at. Learning all the time.
@DianaEPatterson  As always, another brilliant podcast by 2 experienced investors. I particularly liked the section on trimming winners if they’re becoming unwieldy but, at the same time, mindful of not cutting winners – it’s the balance learnt along the way. Thank you TwinPetes for the education.
@Ramraj35hotmai1  Another informative discussion, esp around conviction for me & love to hear abt the insurance sector, I bt more of L&G, AV. last March, agree with @wheeliedealer comments on time management & research we dont all have the privilege of being FT investors, so we do follow tips! Yes quite true, you do need to understand why it fits your investment strategy & as @conkers3 rightly points out it helps with conviction, hope your health is good & good fortune to both petes.
@dancraddockfilm  Great show as always! I definitely think #UA has to be worth a look. I know you guys tend to focus on individual equities but do you think you might be able to do a show which explains some of the differences and features of different types of funds?Trackers/investment trusts etc.

@MarkOtten1 Thanks for another entertaining podcast @conkers3 and @wheeliedealer.  Particularly interested in TSTL sell logic (i hold for over 5 years after discussing it with you) always interesting to hear the thinking behind buys and sells.
@ws1  #PODCAST yrs back I used to listen to justin waite until i felt it had become a vehicle to enable ramping of his own portfolio so other than @DDS_DocHoliday whose acerbic rants make me laugh i stopped listening to this genre.. until now this episode is full of unbiased value.
@TheReluctantIn2  Good discussion around shares and being ahead of the herd on the back of your own conviction. Re #RBGP I hold ~7k and would also be reticent about entering after recent climb and would’ve taken a quick 40% were it not for the off-BS potential not even picked up by ST. DYOR. BYOC
@swingerlse  Sliced a few penny stocks and added to funds I took another new fund after listening to Twin Petes podcast – lazy investing in healthcare #IUHC @wheeliedealer @conkers3.
