If you are new to this podcast, please let me take a moment to explain “Twin Petes Investing” is an unscripted collaboration between Twitter investing personalities Peter Higgins (conkers) @conkers3  on Twitter and the Award Breaking Pete (WheelieDealer) @WheelieDealer on Twitter. We have several decades of involvement and experience of the stock market, stocks, shares, funds, fundamental analysis, technical analysis and dealing with volatility. We are Full Time Investors who find the day to day rigours of the ever-changing quest to make financial returns from the increasingly volatile markets fascinating. Just for clarity other than when we are presenting Twin Petes Investing LIVE at events as we have been fortunate to do at Mello Events, we are conducting our podcasts from completely different locations, with one of us in Windsor, Berkshire and the other in Leicestershire.

As anyone who has even just a limited amount of experience taking on the Markets will know, everybody has their own unique style and ways of taking on the challenge and although our methods have similarities, it is anticipated that our “Twin Petes Investing” podcasts will bring a range of perspectives and thoughts.

@growth_invest1  Fantastic podcast, I’ve been using the weakness in 2022 to expand on holdings such as #GAW and #NFC. Investing is a great hobby as there is no one way to beat the market. It’s all about honing a strategy that suits you, I’ll continue to invest in down trends 🙂

@MathewGregory5  Great show as always lads! @wheeliedealer I think the share you were after is Intertek? @conkers3 total agree with you regarding GAW, love the company but sold out for a loss recently. I think it has a lot further to drop. Cheers, GAW was a lesson. It could have been worse. As Alfred says, why do we fall, so we can learn to pick ourselves up. Thank you for the supportive comment!

@cap_avi  Interesting podcast as usual – I really like listed founder led businesses so long as the founder (and connected parties) doesn’t have controlling stake (above 50%). Worth noting that #MRK founder still holds >70% stake in the business.
@LEMMINGINVESTOR  #77 is full of insight and lessons. Emotions run high with PI doing their conkers. 1 CEO told me of his distress at the abuse and threats he received recently. I have been writing a piece #AI & #ESG the good & bad @sharescope for 2 weeks. @wheeliedealer @conkers3

@Ramraj35hotmai1  Great to hear your amicable conversation of the markets & some wise thoughts, love to hear abt a small Leicester business doing well, #mrk & following in the footsteps of #NXT & #dnlm, LIT a ST tip at abt 70p, who says David can’t beat Goliath, in their case against Google as mentioned by  @conkers3 look at Nano who are winning their case against Samsung & what it’s done to the SP, a 4 bagger from its 5 yr low.

@valueinvestor81  Nice mention of #LIT . Been in for a number of years and the stock I believe is at critical mass. Next few years should be stellar. Ps – the divi was cut in 2020 and has not been reinstated yet (better use of capital for case investment). Also you mentioned a personnel link to Burford. That was Nick R-J who was dismissed in bad light in December (that caused the dip to 80p then).
@vivvov  Keep them long..really enjoy it when you two get into it and loose track of time. ..as an aside Conkers….think you said on a podcast a while back..about EXPN wanting it cheap/hitting 25…it’s 22.80!..different macro climate now..but ‘same’ company/same data.
